Mandala 30: 30 Mandalas in 30 Days

I can barely believe I've reached the 30th mandala already, but here it is. I'm glad that you've shared this journey of creativity with me. Please feel free to continue to send me your comments and share your mandalas -- I love hearing from you!

In the meantime, keep an eye out for a few more updates. I'm hoping to add another gallery to my site soon, plus an "official" contact form as well as an easier way to purchase prints.

Mandala 28: 30 Mandalas in 30 Days

I'm having fun playing with this sketch photo — as I mentioned yesterday, I took a photo of some of my doodles in my sketchbook and that's the source file I've used for both yesterday's mandala and today's. For the curious, I've included a portion of my doodle photo below. :)

Mandala 27: 30 Mandalas in 30 Days

I created this mandala by using a photo of some of my random sketches in my sketchbook. I like how colorful and fun it is. :)

It's hard to believe that I am closing in on my 30th mandala. Only 3 more to go!

Mandala Meditations Apple TV App Available Now

Mandala Meditations Apple TV App

I am so excited to announce that Tim and I have created an app made especially for Apple TV entitled, Mandala Meditations. The app consists of over 30 minutes of visually stunning animations set to music. (Please note: These are not guided meditations, and this app does not function as a screensaver.)

For those of you who are unfamiliar with my previous mandala meditations, the six unique visual meditations included in the app are similar to one I released recently: Acceptance.

My app is currently available in the Apple TV app store. You may find it by searching for "meditation" or "mandala".

A special word of thanks goes out to Chris Zabriskie, for without his music I would have been unable to see my dream become reality. Please visit his web site to find out more about him: http://www.chriszabriskie.com/.

For more information and screenshots of the application, visit my web page.

Mandala 21: 30 Mandalas in 30 Days

I've had a green theme going for a week now, which is very unusual since I have created few green mandalas prior to this. Love today's mandala's velvety texture.

Mandala 06: 30 Mandalas in 30 Days

My grandmother gave me a book many, many years ago that had been hers since childhood. All of the pictures in the book were done in desaturated colors much like these. And so, by way of association, this mandala reminds me of her very much. To Grace, with love.

Happy New Year! And... Mandala 01: 30 Mandalas in 30 Days

Last night, as a family, we talked about all we had accomplished as individuals and together, about what didn't go as we'd hoped, and about what we wished to do in the new year. It was a wonderful way to end the old year and ring in the new on a positive note.

Along with my intentions of continuing to eat more healthfully, being more in the present, and staying out of "worry mode",  I also made a commitment to my creativity. I love making mandalas (as evidenced by the collection on my site that has spanned nearly 14 years)! I feel they are energetic, positive expressions of consciousness and that they contribute life-affirming aspects not only to my work and living space but reflect positively on all who view them. So, I've decided to make a commitment to creating 30 mandalas in 30 days. I can't wait to see what results!  :)

And finally, it is with much gratitude that I extend my thanks to all those who have visited my site, viewed my artwork, and felt compelled to write and express their thoughts. Best wishes for a fulfilling and fun new year!
