Big news for the weekend — I've finally gotten my second coloring book online at Etsy. Signed copies are now available in my Etsy shop.

Etsy Store Open for 2017

I'm so excited the new year is off to such a great start. There's been lots going on, and I have a bunch of announcements coming up -- can't wait to share! But, in the meantime, the latest news is that my Etsy shop has reopened. Pocket mirrors, magnet sets, and buttons are the products that will be listed for the time being.

Etsy Shop Open Again!

After nearly two years of my Etsy shop being closed,  I've just re-opened it and will be adding products over the course of this month. Look for larger print sizes (up to 30x30 inches) to be added to the shop, as well as new mandalas, pocket mirrors, and more.

New Pillow Covers Available

I'm so excited about these pillow covers that each time I create a new one, I have to order it so I can   have one in each room of the house! I might be going just a little bit overboard, but they are just so pretty and colorful -- love them!

The Beautiful Beading Work of Jeanne Evans

About a month ago, a lovely customer on Etsy purchased some of my buttons to use in her beading projects. I asked if she would share her work once it was finished, and this arrived in my Etsy mail a few days ago. It is a beautiful example of her artistry, and I can't wait to see what else she creates! (Mandala used: Connection Mandala)

Pillow Covers Now Available

Yay, my pillow covers are now available and come in three different sizes, made with indoor or outdoor fabrics! Artful Creations, Day 29: Mandala and Fractal Jotters

I'm still working to perfect my little jotters / blank notebooks. I printed out some more covers recently and have only gotten a couple photos, but I'm pretty excited how they are turning out. This one features my From the Heart mandala on the cover. Covers are printed back and front so that most of the mandala is shown.

Each jotter is 3.5" x 5" and has 20 pages of 100% recycled paper inside (40 pages, if you count back and front).

Artful Creations, Day 15: New Products for Blue Igloo

Today I made up a bunch of colorful, new jotters. Some of these will make an appearance in my Etsy Blue Igloo shop once I get some photos. Others will be sent off to some of the stores that carry my items.

I also started to make up some pocket mirrors, but ran out of steam after all the cutting and folding. Once I create some more of these and get them photographed, I'll post them to my Blue Igloo shop as well.

Also in the works...mandala jotters. Today I printed out some of the covers I'll be using and made up a couple of them. Over the next day or so I hope to have a good number of these as well to include in my main Etsy shop. Check back soon to get a sneak peek. :)

Snow Spiral Mandala

It has been grey and cloudy here for days, and if I didn't know better, I would say it looks like snow. But, it's been in the 60s and 70s and there's no chance. Luckily, I can create snow on my computer, so I thought I'd share! Prints are available in my Etsy shop or contact me via my contact page.

New for Fall

My sister and nephew spent the past weekend with us, and while she was here I had her give me a quick refresher course on binding your own books. We whipped up a couple blank journals to sell in my Blue Igloo store, and I've created a couple more since she left. They are so colorful and cute, that I can't wait to list them to share with you! New Mandala Series

If you saw my Instagram / Tweet yesterday, you will have already seen this sneak peek of one of my new digital collage mandalas. I'm calling the series Musings, and they are crafted from pieces of paper I've scanned and then manipulated — adding layers of color, detail and stream-of-consciousness text to arrive at the finished piece. I'm so excited to be working on them and hope to have a couple of them listed in my Etsy shop soon.

Is It Really June Already?

I can't believe how the months of 2012 have flown and now, here it is, June already. Alex is finishing up the school year this week and summer has already come!

I'm hoping to post more to the blog as well as have new artwork to share here and in my Etsy shops as well, so keep your fingers crossed. ;)

Blue Igloo

I've been working on de-cluttering my office closet, and as difficult as it was to actually use my scrapbook papers, it was either that or (gasp!) recycle them. I have a tendency to keep them, pull them out every now and then, look at them, and then shove them back into the deep recesses of my closet. So, I've reworked my Blue Igloo shop and reopened it as a place to sell some little items like tags, mirrors, and magnets that I've created with those much-treasured papers.
