New Fractal: Satin Ribbons

Satin Ribbons Fractal

I've been gathering some of my latest images for inclusion in a third gallery on my site. I hope to post some more of these images over the next few weeks and have the gallery up by the end of August. This one is Satin Ribbons. Enjoy!

Playing with Flame Fractals

A couple weeks ago, I downloaded Apophysis and decided to see what I could do with it. I had downloaded it before, a couple years ago, but was so baffled by the program that I never opened it again!

I love the soft look of flame fractals, and with the newest release of the software, I've noticed that people are creating more and more interesting images with it. This time I am determined to hang in there long enough to create something that is at least a bit more interesting than a big blur! I also have an ulterior motive: to use flame fractal images for some of my Mandala Meditations video podcasts.

To make a long story short, I am still working with Apophysis but in the hope that some day soon I'll be creating mind-boggling flame fractals that leap from the page or screen (one can always dream)! Until that time, I thought I'd share this one:

Incidentally, I did use one of my earliest efforts to create my latest video podcast, "Summoning Spirit", and I'm quite happy with the result — be sure to check it out when you have a chance.

Mandala Meditations “New and Noteworthy” on iTunes

Since releasing my second video podcast, my Mandala Meditations podcast has sprung up on the "New and Noteworthy" section under the Spirituality category of iTunes this week! I feel incredibly fortunate to be listed there and hope that those downloading the podcast are enjoying and benefitting from it.

If you've already subscribed to the podcast, I'd love to hear any comments or suggestions you might have, so feel free to leave a comment here on the blog.

Video Podcast: A Call to Remember

I've just released my second video podcast entitled, A Call to Remember. You can view the podcast by visiting iTunes. If you subscribe to the podcast, my latest meditations will be downloaded automatically depending upon the settings you specify in iTunes.

I am planning on releasing a new video podcast two times a month — I'm shooting for the first and the fifteenth of every month. If you haven't had a chance to see one yet, please read my previous blog entry, Mandala Meditations Available on iTunes, for more information.
