New Pillow Covers Available

I'm so excited about these pillow covers that each time I create a new one, I have to order it so I can   have one in each room of the house! I might be going just a little bit overboard, but they are just so pretty and colorful -- love them!

Keep your eyes on my Etsy shop for new additions. Or, if you have requests or would like to purchase one (or several) directly from me, please contact me.

New Mandala Gallery Online

I've finally posted a third gallery to my mandala pages. These are mandalas I've created over the last year or so. When I was pulling the collection together to post to the gallery, I realized that I've had a fondness for purple that runs throughout the last year or even further back. It is somewhat surprising because purple is not one of my go-to colors, nor does it appear anywhere in my house except in my mandala artwork!

If you have a few minutes to spend, take a look at the new gallery and let me know what you think: Mandala Gallery Three

The Beautiful Beading Work of Jeanne Evans

About a month ago, a lovely customer on Etsy purchased some of my buttons to use in her beading projects. I asked if she would share her work once it was finished, and this arrived in my Etsy mail a few days ago. It is a beautiful example of her artistry, and I can't wait to see what else she creates! Amazing Springtime

Calosoma Scrutator

Tim spotted this beautiful beetle on our driveway yesterday and snapped a few pictures. After some searching around the Internet, I discovered it's wonderful name: Fiery Searcher. Amazing! It was the most beautiful greenish-gold iridescent color, and quite large — I'd say about 1 1/2 inches. I found a web page dedicated to this beetle that says it preys on caterpillars, of which we have many right now. Check out their site if you'd like to see some other terrific pictures of this type of beetle.
